Vision
Providing a distinguished and effective research educational service for undergraduate and postgraduate students on animal viruses causing diseases, their prevention and control, and providing community awareness in the Suez Canal area about zoonotic viruses transmitting through meat, milk, food, fish, and poultry.
Goals
- Promoting an understanding of the basic and advanced principles of molecular virology.
- Equipping students with tools for viral diagnosis, prevention, and management.
- Strength students’ abilities in predicting viral diseases based on the nature of viruses and their role in disease pathogenesis.
- Developing students’ capacity to evaluate viruses’ epidemiology and evolution.
- Prepare students with strong leadership, ethics, teamwork, decision-making, communication, and quality work proficiency in the management of viral diseases.
