Mission
The Department of Veterinary Public Health - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Suez Canal University, seeks to prepare a highly qualified graduate in managing different environments and early detection of epidemic diseases using modern technologies, analysis of vital data and their prevention, and how to spread awareness to prevent these diseases among members of society.
Goals
- Reaching a highly qualified graduate in:
- Knowing the natural environments in which the animal lives and its reflection on its health, either positively or negatively.
- Training on health intervention in environments that lack health care, in order to provide health and preventive care for different animals.
- Study the determinants of diseases in different animal environments and their interaction with the occurrence of disease.
- Knowledge of the epidemiology of the diseases.
- Methods of dealing and diagnosing these diseases with the aim of raising the animal's health and productivity efficiency in an economic manner.
- How to spread awareness and prevent these diseases among members of society.
- Participation of students in faculty and university conferences, research and advanced projects in the field of animal health and management and zoonoses.
