The community service sector at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Suez Canal University, participates with civil society internally and externally in cooperation with the staff members, their associates, students, and employees to offer a set of activities and various programs such as environmental and health education programs, seminars, and specialized workshops in addition to the training programs that offer job opportunities to the human resources. The sector seeks to be in constant contact with the graduates in the field of continuous training.
I would like to seize this opportunity and invite all community parties, such as civil society institutions, staff members, their associates, workers, and students, to participate in all activities and programs offered by the community service and environmental affairs sector to maximize the rate of community participation.

Sector's goals:
- Preparing plans and programs that activate the faculty’s role in studying community problems, offering solutions to them, and contributing to the development issues.
- Organizing conferences, scientific seminars, scientific lectures, and training courses that target the graduates and the members of civil society.
- Organizing medical convoys to serve the people of the centers and villages of Ismailia Governorate, Suez Governorate, and North and South Sinai.
- Supervising the general maintenance and the services of the faculty.
- Developing the special units (educational farm, community service center, and national and research center in reserves).
- Enhancing communication with the graduates.
- Offering technical training and research support to workers in the field of nature reserves locally and regionally.
- Facilitating conducting the applied research that serves all the fields of wildlife inside and outside the reserves.
- Organizing the training courses and the specialized workshop to serve that field.
- Training on monitoring and the evaluation system of the nature reserves.
- Enhancing the training and research abilities of all the graduates of the faculties of veterinary medicine on all levels to manage the nature reserves locally and regionally.

Mission
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Suez Canal University, works on graduating veterinarians who are able to compete in the labor market and lead entrepreneurship to promote livestock and wildlife and preserve public health through distinguished educational and training programs aligned with the requirements of fourth-generation universities, as well as innovative applicable scientific research to achieve sustainable development goals for society, while upholding professional values and ethics.
