Ensuring the college’s needs for materials, supplies, and equipment are met by receiving the requirements of various departments, dealing with suppliers to provide these needs, monitoring the performance of workers and employees, and managing their attendance at work.
Duties and Responsibilities of the College Secretary
- Supervising the administrative departments of the college.
- Holding regular meetings with the heads of administrative departments to discuss work steps and issues and work on resolving them.
- Participating in the planning of administrative and financial work at the college and proposing the implementation programs for them.
- Exercising financial and administrative authorities within the limits of the regulatory decisions, overseeing the financial and administrative aspects of the college.
- Planning the college’s needs for raw materials, equipment, and furniture, and preparing the estimated budget for purchases, materials, and supplies.
- Receiving requests for raw materials and equipment from various departments and organizing them in a way that facilitates the preparation of purchase orders.
