Overview
The theriogenology department is one of 21 scientific departments in the Veterinary Medicine Faculty – at Suez Canal University which was established in 1986. The department is one of the clinical departments in the faculty that provide students with field practices in the field of Theriogenology.
Mission
Our mission is to provide undergraduates and postgraduates students with the scientific knowledge and practical foundation in Theriogenology as well as to provide advanced research in the diagnosis and treatment of reproductive disorders in different animal species and to solve farm reproductive problems and maximize its reproductive efficiency in Ismailia and Suez Canal area.
Vision
The vision of the department is considered a learning core of Theriogenology for undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as a specialized unit in reproductive ultrasonography and artificial insemination in different animals.
Goals
- Providing practice in the field of Theriogenology (Andrology- Obstetrics- A.I and E.T.).
- Supporting research studies in different fields of Theriogenology.
- Supporting the interrelation between the department, local community, and different dairy farms.
