The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Suez Canal University, provides scientific, psychological, social, and financial stability for all students. It facilitates the educational process and supports it along with all the sectors academically, financially, socially, and medically with the aim to enhance the Faculty’s graduate level.
Our goal is to provide the Faculty attendees with all success tools to enhance their academic performance and to meet quality standards while keeping into consideration the strict commitment to the law of the Supreme Council of Universities and the Faculty’s internal regulation.
The Faculty doesn't only apply a credit hours system but also applies different types of academic guidance activities, which for sure have an effective role in constructing a relationship between the University, academic staff members, and students. This program is titled “Academic guidance”.

About
The Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty is an administrative unit inside the Faculty and follows the Center of Quality Assurance inside the University. This Unit is an organizing entity, specialized in preparing the Faculty’s strategies to ensure the continuity of the development of Suez Canal University. It was constructed in parallel with the Faculty’s plan to earn quality accreditation, according to the plan of the Ministry of Higher education, to develop the process of University education. Members of the unit were chosen, to achieve the highest levels of communication between the unit and members in charge of the educational and research process in addition to community service. The Faculty is supported by groups of administrators who will help in achieving the unit’s goals.

The Unit aims to achieve Excellence and integrated quality. Moreover, to work on continuous development and enhancements of the Faculty’s academic performance and research activities to earn trust, satisfaction, and quality accreditation.

The Unit of Quality Assurance at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Suez Canal University has taken responsibility for the publications’ supervision. The unit is also committed to its role of promoting the culture of continuous development of the educational and research process and community services— according to guidelines of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
The Unit will achieve its mission with an identified strategy and clear execution plan. The Unit's management believes that if the Faculty is qualified enough to earn quality accreditation, then it will pave the way for its attendees to compete both nationally and internationally as they will be the pillars of sustainable development.

About
The Unit was established to be the control center of the digital transformation and electronic education projects according to the decree of the University President in 2013.
Coordination was done between the Faculty of Veterinary and the University Educational Development Center to prepare and equip the unit with all the needed devices; computers and equipment.
The Unit’s engineers were carefully chosen and trained by the Development Center to be in charge of all the electronic duties that includes: networks, maintenance, electronic education, and the faculty’s database.

The information technology unit is a higher education system that relies on quality bases and uses information and communication technology to implement and administrate the educational process and its institutes that are based on the information center of the higher education to offer all required information for education, scientific research, and technological for community service.

- To make use of all results of 1st stage of the center of information assurance of higher education projects, present in supreme councils of universities to complete and settle support of all projects.
- To set all methods the grants integration between all applications of information systems and communication.
- To provide a number of electronic services for academic staff members and students.
- To re-innovate, a number of projects, based on the results of 1st stage of the ICTP project, which has a direct effect on higher education system users.
- To determine methods that help in executing the supreme council of universities resolution, related to acquiring students the ICDL certificate, as a graduation requirement.
- To help in finishing the Faculty’s digital transformation process.
- To enhance and update the infrastructure of the faculty.
- To minimize the usage of operating systems and programming.
- To work on advancing the educational process through supporting participation between students and academic staff members.

At Suez Canal University, special units follow the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and is established as a special unit and has its lead in managing financial, managerial, and technical affairs according to rule no. 307 law no.49 – 1972 and its Internal Statute and its edits. The last edit included the faculty's council approval no. 379 (10-1-2017), the Environmental Affairs Council approval no. 223 (18-1-2017), university's council approval no. (24-1-2017), and the Ministry of Finance approval (23-10-2017).
